     Flora Bell Croft was born in 1924.1 She married Frederick Anderson Bezanson, son of Judson Clarence Bezanson and Sarah Elizabeth Frost, on 31 October 1942. He was 27.1 Flora Bell Croft died on 29 May 2006 at New Halifax Infrimary, QEII, Halifax, Nova Scotia.2

BEZANSON (Croft), Flora Belle - 81, passed away in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, on May 29, 2006.

Born in Necum Teuch, she was a daughter of the late John Clarence and Mary Myrtle Heath Croft. She was a member of St. John Anglican Church for many years. She lived most of her life in Necum Teuch with her family. In 1990, she moved to Halifax to make it her home. She then was a member of Trinity Church in Halifax and for many years sang in the Trinity Choir.

Surviving are daughters, Katherine Bezanson, Halifax; Heather Belle Croft, New Chester; brothers, John Elmer Croft and family, Toronto; Daniel Louis Croft (Joyce), Necum Teuch; sisters, Lucille Margaret Graham and family, Ontario; Myrtle Irene Hodder (Maxwell), Liscomb; Ruth Madeline Bliss (Donald), Halifax; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncles; grandchildren, Brent Allan Croft and Leeta Dawn, New Chester.

She was predeceased by brothers, Edgar Earnest Croft and Clarence Earl Croft. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, where the family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.2

     Herbert Ellsworth Bezanson was also known as Erbie Bezanson.1 He was born on 3 June 1912.1 He married Maxine Doris Gammon on 18 September 1947. He was 35.1 Herbert Ellsworth Bezanson died on 29 April 2004 at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, at age 91.2 He was buried on 8 May 2004 in St. James Cemetery, Port Dufferin, Nova Scotia.2

BEZANSON, Herbert Ellsworth "Erbie" - 91, West Quoddy, Halifax, Co. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, on April 29, 2004, in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour, surrounded by his loving family.

Erbie was born in New Chester, Guysborough Co., June 3, 1912, the son of the late James and Frances (Fleet) Bezanson.

He will be missed by his wife of 57 years, the former Maxine Gammon; daughter, Elaine Murphy; Delta, B.C; son, Rennie, Dartmouth; granddaughters, Angela and Janice Murphy, Dartmouth; grandsons, Robert Murphy, Delta, B.C; Brenton and Billy Bezanson, Dartmouth; great-grandchildren Brittnee, James, Alannah, Calista, and Riley.

He was predeceased by sons, Brenton and Rickie; daughter, Yvonne.

No visitation or flowers by request. Graveside service will be held May 8 at 2 p.m. in St. James Cemetery, Port Dufferin, Rev. Brian Hutchins officiating.2

Born in Sheet Harbour, August 26, 1949, she was a daughter of Herbert and Maxine (Gammon) Bezanson. While fighting a lifelong battle with Fredericks Ataxia she truly enjoyed painting, needlework and was an avid reader.

Surviving are sister, Elaine Murphy, Delta, B.C; brother, Rennie; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brother, Brenton, and brother Rickie in infancy.2
