     Violet Caroline Bezanson was born on 22 July 1935 at New Chester, Nova Scotia.1 She married Chesley Bezanson, son of John Duncan Bezanson and Alice May Croft.2 Violet Caroline Bezanson and Chesley Bezanson were 1st cousins, 1 time removed. Violet Caroline Bezanson married Lorne Avery Preeper.3 Violet Caroline Bezanson died on 17 June 2013 at South Brookfield, Nova Scotia, at age 77.1 She was buried on 22 June 2013 in St. Paul's Cemetery, Antrim, Nova Scotia.1

     Obituary:
PREEPER, Violet Caroline, - 77, South Brookfield, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2013, surrounded by her family.

Born in New Chester, July 22, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Elbridge and Drucella (McKinley) Bezanson. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She really liked planting flowers and watching them grow. She enjoyed listening to the country classics every Saturday evening on the radio. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Brenda Lowe, South Brookfield; Sandra (Ronald) McMullin, Milford; Donna (Francis) Boucher, Dartmouth; sons David (Debbie Murley) Bezanson, South Brookfield; Ashley (Roseann) Bezanson, South Brookfield; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters Judy (Ken) Ferris, Porters Lake; Bonnie Bezanson, Porters Lake; Jeanie Bezanson, Lake Echo; Susie (Terry) Charmichel, Eastern Passage; brother Calvin, New Chester.

She was predeceased by her husband Lorne Preeper, her former husband Chesley Bezanson, brothers Norman, Harold, Jimmy and a brother in infancy, sister Bertha Nauffts, son-in-law Allen Lowe and twin great-grandsons in infancy.

Visitation 6-8 pm, Friday, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie with funeral 2pm, Saturday, June 22, in St. Paul's United Church, Antrim, Rev. Marilyn MacDonald officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Antrim.1

     Chesley Bezanson was born on 29 December 1916.1 His full name was David Allen Chesley Bezanson.1 He married Violet Caroline Bezanson, daughter of James Elbridge Bezanson and Drusilla McKinley.1 Chesley Bezanson and Violet Caroline Bezanson were 1st cousins, 1 time removed. Chesley Bezanson died on 11 February 1993 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, at age 76.2 He was buried on 15 February 1993 in South Brookfield Cemetery, South Brookfield, Nova Scotia.2

Born in New Chester, Guysborough County, he was a son of the late John and Alice (Croft) Bezanson.

He is survived by his former wife, Violet (Bezanson); three daughters, Brenda (Mrs. Allen Lowe), South Brookfield; Sandra (Mrs. Ronald McMullen), Lake Egmont; Donna (Mrs. Francis Boucher), Dartmouth; two sons, David, Ashley, both of South Brookfield; six sisters, Jean, Mary (Mrs. Aubrey Mason), both of Halifax; Clara (Mrs. Emery Croft), Dartmouth; Annie (Mrs. Elvin Oickle), Spanishship Bay; Ethel (Mrs. William Moser), Freda (Mrs. Clarence Sharp), both of Mosers River; brother, Percy, New Chester; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Margaret, Myrtle, Florence; two brothers, Wallace, Melvin.

The body is in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, visiting 2-4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in South Brookfield Union Church, Rev. Peter Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in South Brookfield Cemetery.2

     Sandra Ruth Violet Bezanson was born circa 1953 at New Chester, Nova Scotia.2 She married Ronald McMullin.3 Sandra Bezanson died on 10 June 2014 at Colchester East Hants Medical Center, Truro, Nova Scotia.2

McMULLIN, Sandra Ruth Violet - Age 61, Milford, formerly of Lake Egmont, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2014, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, after a lengthy illness.

Born in New Chester, she was a daughter of the late Chesley Bezanson and Violet (Bezanson) Preeper. She loved watching her children and grand-children playing their sports. Sandra was always there for her family and friends. She was very family oriented. She loved animals, especially her cat, Frisco, and also enjoyed rescuing injured animals (domestic or wild) and nurturing them back to health. Sandra was a fun loving person and always up for new challenges.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ronald; daughters, Ann Marie (Rick) Boutilier, Melinda McMullin, Terra McMullin-Mullin, Tammy McMullin (Clint Turner); son, Christopher McMullin; grandchildren, Brandon, Shanda, Michael, Dylan, Emma and Cameron; sisters, Brenda Lowe, Donna (Francis) Boucher; brothers, David Bezanson (Debbie), Ashley (Roseanne) Bezanson.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Lorne Preeper and brother-in-law, Allen Lowe.

Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday in St. Paul’s United Church, Antrim, Rev. Linda Yates officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.2
