Born in Beacon Hill, Boston, she lived in Waltham for more than 70 years. Until her retirement, Ruth worked for many years for the Raytheon Corporation in Quincy and in Newton. She was the wife of the late Eugene R. Rodier, Sr. and mother of the late Eugene R. 'Sunny' Rodier, Jr. She leaves her husband, Norman S. Collett and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), Waltham. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.8
