He was described as 5ft 6in tall with blue eyes and fair hair.5 He married Betty Duffee on 10 May 1920. He was 35.6,4

William A. Bezanson, 71, of 33 Oak Grove Trail, died Tuesday at Nashua Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Lowell. Mass., June 12, 1915, a son of the late Roland S. and Ethel E. (Hudson) Bezanson. He was married to the late Rita M. (Morrison) Bezanson, who died in 1993.

Educated in Chelmsford, Mass., he graduated from Chelmsford High School and Lowell Commercial College, Lowell. Mass.

Mr. Bezanson was employed for 35 years by the New England Telephone Co., serving as a power inspector.

During world War II he served with the U.S. Coast Guard.

A resident of Nashua for several years. Mr. Bezanson had previously made his home in Chelmsford, Mass.

He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Members of his family include two daughters, Diane M. Allen of Dunstable, Mass., and Martha G. Barr of Nashua; two grandsons, Robert C. Allen, Jr. and Sean W. Allen, both of Dunstable. Mass.

The Farwell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.5

He was 23.6,1 A quote from the "Glancing Over Nova Scotia" article in the Halifax Herald, 29 September 1921, "Arthur Bezanson, Port Williams, Motored to Chester. His wife is visiting her father, Willard Gates", in addition to another source, has convinced me Josephine Gates, wife of Arthur Crawley Bezanson, was the daugher of Willard Gates, as were two of Arthur's sisters-in-law.7,8 He was an heir to the estate of Margaret Ann Corkum.9 Arthur Crawley Bezanson died on 30 July 1959 at New Minas, Nova Scotia, at age 73.10,11 The cause of death was uraemia.10 He was buried on 1 August 1959 in Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville, Nova Scotia.10,12
