     Edward Bezanson Buell was named Edward Joseph Bezanson at birth but he evidently used the surname Buell after his father died and his mother married Oscar Buell.2 He was born on 17 July 1888 at Boston, Massachusetts.3,4 After his father died, Edward Bezanson Buell was sent back to Nova Scotia and was raised by his McPhee grandparents until the age of 8 when he rejoined his mother and stepfather Oscar Buell in Boston. He was also known as Edward Joseph Buell.4 He registered for the military service draft on 5 June 1917 while living at 49 Greenwich Street, Springfield, Massachusetts.5 He served in the military in World War I from 3 September 1917 to 19 April 1919.6,7 According to Bezansons from Nova Scotia, the children of Edward Bezanson Buell and Alice Mildred Anderson were known as Buell.8 Edward Bezanson Buell married Alice Mildred Anderson on 2 January 1928. He was 39. She was 21.8,9 Edward Bezanson Buell registered for the military service draft on 27 April 1942 while living at Holbrook, Arizona.1 His death date was also reported as 27 May 1972.6 He died on 29 May 1972 at age 83.9 He was buried in Pinetop Cemetery, Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona.9
